Career Services has many online and print resources that you can utilize free of charge. But the resources listed below are the ones that I most often share with students. If you would like more information about our resources and services, contact Career Services at 540-654-1022 to schedule an individual appointment.

UMW’s Job/Internship Database (eRecruiting/Experience)- http://mary-washington.experience.com/
- Students can access job opportunities for UMW students, locate alumni contacts, and register for upcoming career events and workshops.

Occupational Outlook Handbook- http://www.bls.gov/oco/
- Allows students to research career options by searching “career titles”.

Career Services “How to Guides”:  www.umw.edu
- Contains information on how to create a resume/cover letter, interview successfully, and negotiate a higher salary.

Vault Online Career Library- http://careerinsider.vault.com/wps/porta…
- Download over 90 books in adobe format, conduct company or industry research, watch career videos, and participate in message boards.
